Editorial
Dear Reader
The heat is on and vacations are on the top of all our minds. It’s
time to revamp your wardrobe and look for new accessories and outfits. Black is, of course, ever y woman’s perennial favourite, but
since the scorching heat puts the brakes on that colour, why not
select outfits and accessories in bright and vibrant shades?Former Miss India World Sayali Bhagat shows you how. She
combines swimming pool chic with subtle sophistication. She
adds edge to summer wear yet is relaxed enough to wear a cool,
breezy kaftan.
We have an interesting mix of interviews this issue with Kyra
Shroff the highest-rated junior tennis player in India; Kiran Trivedi of the marble industr y who has taken a simple one-dimensional
product to new heights and Jamshed Dotivala whose family has
been in the baker y business for over six generations.
Vaibhavi Merchant, the Bollywood choreographer who has
worked with every major star from Shah Rukh to Shahid Kapoor
and is currently touring with the musical ‘Merchants of Bollywood’
based on her life, provides some interesting insider insights.
The search for his ancestral roots and residence has led
Harianto Mehta to take some breathtaking pictures of Myanmar.
Enjoy the visual treat.
And, finally, for cigar aficionados, Daniel Carroll, co-founder of
the Cigar Club of Mumbai, offers insightful tips on the ultimate
lifestyle statement.
I am going to be watch- struck this month as I am writing this
edit from Baselworld, Switzerland. I will share my experiences with
you in the next issue which will be a watch special.
Till then keep those letters coming. Tell us what you like and
what you don’t. We love to receive feedback from you.
